Rolling Travel Hack

By

Hi there, it’s Ash, aka the Still Life Nomad! Today I am going to share a quick travel hack: rolling your clothes.

By rolling your clothes, you save a ton of space in your suitcase, which is vital especially if you’re taking only a carry-on and backpack! I also feel it makes viewing what clothes you have simpler.

So how do you do it? I start by folding my sleeves in, then folding it in half. This makes what you are going to roll a lot less wide. After that, roll top to bottom until you have a tight bundle of fabric.

Keep in mind that not every item should be rolled! If it is bulky, fold the item as you normally would. I recommend keeping only 1-2 bulky sweaters.

Finally, when organizing your suitcase ensure you put the heavy, bulky, folded items like pants and sweaters on the bottom and the lighter, rolled items like shirts on top.

Get packing!

Love,

Ash
